Das Lugeck ist ein kleiner Platz im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt.
In der Platzmitte befand sich einst das sagenumwobene Marcus-Curtius-Loch, ein kreisrunde Eintiefung ungeklärter Funktion, die der Legende nach auf den Guss der ersten Pummerin zurückgeht. Seit 1900 steht hier das Denkmal für Johannes Gutenberg
The Lugeck is a small square in the 1st district of Vienna Inner City.
In the middle of the square was once the legendary Marcus Curtius hole, a circular hole of unexplained function, which goes back to the legend of the first Pummerin ( the clock of St. Stephan´s Cathedral). Since 1900 stands there the monument of Johannes Gutenberg.
